Tara has been working at Sandlin & Associates since May 2008. Prior to pursuing a career in the accounting field she enjoyed much success at an international retail corporation in New Jersey for 18 years. During that time she held multiple positions in operations, planning and logistics, training and development, and merchandising. Trying to balance the needs of her growing family, she left the demanding corporate culture to manage the financials of her husband’s growing construction company. A move to Hawaii in 2006 led to opportunities in consulting to open and grow various small businesses on the island of Oahu. A chance meeting with Diane in 2008 lead to a new career opportunity and the rest, as they say, is history.
When Tara is not “crunching numbers” at her desk, she enjoys running, hiking, swimming, and spending time with her family; usually on the soccer field.
